Common Name:  Bronzed Tiger Beetle

Latin Name:  Cicindela repanda Dejean, 1825
                        (R. Bercha, det.)

Length:  11 to 13 mm

Range: Southern 2/3 of Alberta & not common in the mountains

Habitat:  Wet sand and mud near edges of lakes, rivers and streams

Time of year seen:  Summer to fall (Additional Sightings)

Diet: Insects
