Common Name:  Two-spotted Looper or Twin Gold Spot

Latin Name:  Autographa bimaculata (Stephens, 1830)
                        (R. Bercha, det.)

Wingspan:  37 - 40 mm

Range: Alberta

Habitat: Wooded areas & meadows

Time of year seen: Mid of June to September

Caterpillar's Diet: Dandelion, plantain and stinging nettle
