Common Name:  Glover's Silkmoth or Columbian Silkmoth

Latin Name:  Hyalophora columbia gloveri (Strecker, 1872)
                        (R. Bercha, det.)

Wingspan:  90 - 100 mm

Range: Alberta

Habitat:  Jackpine forest and areas with shrubs on the prairies

Time of year seen: Mid May to late June (Additional Sightings)

Caterpillar's Diet: Silverberry, Choke Cherry and willow.
