Habitat:  Hot springs

Time of year seen:  June to September (Additional Sightings)

Diet: Insects

Other: Vivid Dancers are only found at the Cave and Basin hot springs in Banff, Alberta.  The males are blue and black and the females come in two color morphs: blue & black and brown & orange.  (Acorn, 2004)
